Rhizome has been putting start-ups and small businesses on the map since 2007. Back then, we mainly worked with online platforms designed to help consumers make or save cash, and property professionals whose advertising spend had diminished to a PR budget as the credit crunch took hold.

We made sure those brands were regularly featured in the consumer, business and trade press. Some, like flatshare site SpareRoom.co.uk, became household names.

Eight years on, we’ve grown with our start up clients, and won the business of more established firms, such as the comparison site uSwitch.com, the insurer Protect Your Bubble and the accountancy firm HW Fisher & Company. Technology has also become a key area, with augmented reality and big data both specialist areas for our clients. But our expertise spans a huge range of subject matter from health and third sector to motoring, alternative finance, property and tax.

How it works

Our clients are all on monthly retainers of a minimum two days per month. We spread their hours out across the month and we are in regular contact via phone, Skype and email. We meet periodically to assess how we’re doing, and brainstorm ideas.
